This year’s CineCats Film Showcase – “Small Films, Big Ideas” – will be held on Wednesday afternoon, May 20, 2009.
Submissions are due by the end of the day on Thursday, April 30, 2009. Check back often for updates. Now … get out there, and get shooting!
CineCats provides a showcase for local film/video makers to display their short films. All films are due by Thursday, April 30, 2009 – NO exceptions
Entry eligibility is strictly limited to:
- Current or former residents of Los Gatos/Monte Sereno (or must have parent who is current/former resident)
- Current or former students of a school in the Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District
- Those who have a continuing connection to the Los Gatos community (i.e., business owners)
- Current enrollees in art, drama or film classes with the Los Gatos-Saratoga Recreation Department
The CineCats Program Committee and Judges Panel, comprised of local film and video professionals, carefully review each film. Those films selected by the panel will be screened at Calvary Church in Los Gatos on May 20th, immediately followed by a gala reception at the Los Gatos Art Museum.
- Deadline: 5 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2009
- Fees: $20 per film ($10 for students). Cash accepted in person only – do not mail cash. Checks should be made out to Los Gatos Community Foundation. One film per entry form and fee only. All entry fees are used to offset the CineCats Showcase production costs.
- Submission Guidelines: All films must be submitted in DVD format.
Length: All films must be less than 10 minutes, including credits. Films longer than 10 minutes, including credits, will not be accepted.
- Submission Returns: If you would like your film to be returned, please include self-addressed, postage-paid packaging.
